Meet the participants

Brian Riva, #20 (Nickname: Ernie, Reeves, Stripes)

RC GHIN = 12.0
The Godfather of the Classic. Known for his once famous fireside chats, Brian now treats the Classic like a red headed step kid and squeezes the event into his very busy schedule when he isn't tied up counting his money from his family storage unit empire. Somehow both of his kids ended up being amazing athletes, clearly thanks to Kate's gene pool.
Famous phrase: "I'll have a code blue"

Keith Jones, #23 (Nickname: BA, Jahones)

USGA GHIN = 8.6
This event doesn't go as smoothly as it does each year without Jahones. He coordinates the golf games, tee times, lodging ,travel, all for the small fee he factors into whatever amount we end up paying him, sight unseen.

Jim Hahn, #22 (Nickname: Chaker)

USGA GHIN = 6.5
It's safe to say that the Classic wouldn't be what it is without Chaker. To think the guy with the heaviest fastball on the team and best foul line painter in "SSC" history needs to use the Classic to catch up on sleep. We may be starting a narcolepsy charity fund up soon so stay tuned.
Famous phrase: "HUH, WHAT?!"

Ward Deklyn #25 (Nickname: Chip, Dekes, Deeksta)

RC GHIN = 27.0
A gentleman and a scholar. Pretty much the only one of us who appears to have stayed on the straight and narrow through the years. Not only a Co-Founder of the Classic, but also the designer of the original RC logo. What else can you say about Dekes other than he's a class act and has the best golf swing for a guy who cannot find a way to break 100.

Mitch Stringer, #44 (Nickname: Mitchell)

RC GHIN = 24.0
To think of all the photos that Mitch took that were once on www.rivaclassic.com and are now lost. Or are they? Mitch, send pics so we can upload them to the website. Thank you.

Chris Mader, #16 (Nickname: Toe)

USGA GHIN = 5.1
AKA "Mr. Humble"...
-
4-time RC Champion
-
Golden Spikes Player of the Year (MA) - 1988
-
Famous phrase: "O-V-E-_"
-
Author of the book: Make the Adjustment

Todd Diebel #6 (Nickname: Dixie)

USGA GHIN = 12.9
For 362 days each year, Dixie Diebel is a straight laced CEO. But for those 3 days at the Classic, it's like Andy Dufresne breaking out of Shawshank. You never know what you will get with Dixie, other than gut busting laughter and a story for your lifetime.

Dave Ciambella, #24 (Nickname: Meat, Meat Bonz, Meaty, Meaty Bonz, or BBB for Big Business Bonz)

USGA GHIN = 9.1
This is definitely one cat you do not want to mess around with at the poker table. He will shove all his chips in with 7-2 offsuit knowing full well he can re-buy with the unlimited funding thru the Rawls Group. Golf game is unpredictable at best as the key to his success is the delicate balance between the Bloody Mary drip in the morning plus Woodford reserve in the evening.
Famous phrase: "How many times can I re-buy?"

Darrell Card, #2 (Nickname: DC, D Card, Bob Ross)

USGA GHIN = 10.1
Never underestimate Darrell's ability to sneak up on you and have you in the figure four and on the ground in .3 seconds. Not known for low golf scores, DC makes up for it with leadership as well as his incredible Bob Ross impressionist paintings.

John Kendrigan, #?? (Nickname: JK)

USGA GHIN = 11.4
Johnny found his way to the Classic a few years ago and hasn't missed one since. Once embarrassed by his poor golf at the beginning, he has since been grinding throughout the year and has become a top golfer at the RC (which isn't really saying much).

Carmine Cappuccio, #17 (Nickname: Pooch Poocher, C's)

RC GHIN = 9.0
Poocher is always pointing in pictures and no one really knows why. The once jet black hair stud from Malden is now the Salt & Pepper Paisan from somewhere in Southeast Florida. This 4-sport athlete (Baseball, Football, Basketball, & Booze) brings his "A" game to the Classic each year, both on and off the golf course.

Clay Bellinger, #22 (Nickname: CB)

RC GHIN = 14.0
Without a doubt the best athlete of this bunch. Not only a star on the diamond, but also the pickleball & cornhole courts as well. A solid golfer, Clay doesn't appear to have any weaknesses other than how loud he snores or the length of time it takes him to respond to group chats.
Best known for introducing the scramble format to the Classic.

Bill Jacobs, #14 (Nickname: Billy)

USGA GHIN = 14.6
Almost impossible to find a picture of Bill anywhere attending the Classic, but HE IS there each year and this is the best we could do. One may think Billy is a quiet, unassuming type. But underneath that calm & quiet persona is an accountant with a calm & quiet persona.

Jim Barnick, #_ (Nickname: Nails)

RC GHIN = MAX
Tough as Nails, Barnick was the guy you never want to play against and always want on your team. Gritty, tough, and started (and ended) the Pitt Brawl in 1991 during Baseball Week.

Mike Cole, #26 (Nickname: Stiff, Stiffy, StiffMoney)

RC GHIN = MAX
Stiffy has made two appearances at the Classic, only in New England and doesn't play golf. Stiff was an Ace on the mound and is always welcome at future events.

Ray Fernandez, #2 (Nickname: Sugar Ray)

RC GHIN = MAX
Nails & Ray were one of the strongest middle infield combos in Rollins history, but Ray had the cross to bear by following Harry Ball at 2B. And we were fine...

Shaun Junker, #_ (Nickname: Nuke LaLoosh)

RC GHIN = 4.0
Along with CB, Nuke is one of the best overall athletes in Rollins history. Only problem is he had like 18 babies and has been anchored to the great state of Minnesota for the past 15 years.

Mike Lynch, #__ (Nickname: The Sheriff, Lynchie)

RC GHIN = 18
We really enjoy it when Mike joins us for 18.5 hours each year. Biggest sand bagger at the Classic and we have no idea how he's kept such a low profile given his incredibly dark sense of humor.
All-time winner of the "DH Award".

Boyd Coffie, #1 (Nickname: Coach)
What can we say about Coach Coffie other than thank you. Thank you for teaching us about baseball, life, and creating a culture that we enjoyed when we played, but fully couldn't appreciate it until later in life.
Famous phrase: "Son, Make the Adjustment"
